My review of WatchesInStyle.com finds a site that has a great customer service team – it's really a shame they don't work for a better company! The friendly and helpful staff was really the only bright spot here. This site falls apart when it comes to their Rolex watches and their unreasonable return-shipping fees. I could return my terrible watch and I will never buy from them again.
Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?
My Rolex replica was awful. The picture you see here shows how one of the diamond hour markers has come out of place, but that's not even the whole story. The stitching was really bad and especially noticeable since it is white thread on black leather. Also this Rolex replica was so heavy; it felt like it was made of lead!
The Site: Usability and Design
This site looks just like a hundred other replica watches sites I've seen – it must be a cookie-cutter site format that anyone can use for free. I'm sure you'll recognize it right away. There are a few customer reviews that sound suspiciously like they were all written by the same individual.
Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?
Their staff is great! In fact, I even got the sense that they feel a bit guilty working at a site they know isn't very good. But they did their best to make up for it. They were always prompt in replying to me, were very polite and, in the end, they waived the restocking fee when I returned my watch. I could think of a few other sites that would benefit immensely from having a staff like this.
Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?
This was okay, probably because it's one of the few things their excellent customer service guys can control. It arrived in two weeks (they promise 10-16 days) and they provided me with a tracking number. Also, it's free if you spend over $50. No complaints here.
Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?
This was another big problem. Even though they were good enough to waive the restocking fee, the company policy said I had to pay for return shipping and use the shipping company they specify, which charged me $60! So even thought the initial shipping is free, they really get you on the way back.
The Bottom Line
I hope the customer service team here quits and start their own business! Because, as good as they were, they can't make up for all the problems I uncovered with my review of WatchesInStyle.com.
